Deep blue water, stately pines, and soaring Sierra peaks set a magnificent stage for colleagues gathered at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa & Casino. Delegates enjoy a wide choice of activities, from snow sports in winter to hiking, biking, golf, and lake sports in summer to Nevada gaming and pampering sessions at the resort’s 24-hour casino and
20,000-square-foot Stillwater Spa year-round.
The 26 acres front a private beach with pier and Sierra Cloud catamaran cruises, watercraft rentals, parasailing, and outdoor massages on-site. In snow time the concierge dispenses lift tickets, while complimentary round-trip shuttles leave regularly for the slopes of Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley, Diamond Peak, and Northstar-at-Tahoe.
Ten types of lodgings make up the 422 accommodations, including concierge-level guest rooms and suites and 24 one- and two-bedroom Lakeside Cottages. Among the eight bars and restaurants, the dining options range from casual meals and entertainment at Cutthroat’s Saloon to classic Tahoe fine dining at the Lone Eagle Grille.
Seasoned catering and conference managers attend to groups of up to 1,250 in 50,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space. Sixteen private dining and meeting rooms range from boardroom to convention in size—including Tahoe’s only lakefront ballroom. Naturally, thanks in part to a recent $62 million makeover, visiting groups have access to the latest audiovisual and communications technology, including complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property.

Good sized rooms for ski equipment. Food and beverage was good. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and well-trained. Conference staff checked in regularly. Last-minute requests were handled expertly.
The arrival experience is rated lower because a chandelier in the lobby was sitting on the lobby floor for repairs for two days, unfortunate timing for my group. Although several ski resorts are close by, not having a ski-in/ski-out option was a turnoff for my group.

We come to this property frequently. The casino is very unobtrusive and it is a lovely lodge style in Tahoe, so you cannot even tell it has a casino. The lakeside cottages are wonderful right on the lake and the lakeside ballrooms have floor to ceiling windows. We will have this on our rotation every three years. The food outlets are great and the Tahoe location easy for many travelers

Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa & Casino Announces Groundbreaking For Tahoe Provisions
Posted Jun 18, 2009 by Elite News Team
New specialty market will provide convenient & cost-effective resource for travelers INCLINE VILLAGE, NV (April 21, 2009) Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa & Casino is pleased to announce the groundbreaking for Tahoe Provisions, a dynamic and convenient new 1,300 square-foot specialty shop for guests and resort visitors seeking quick and affordable light bites throughout the day as well as grab-and-go items, familiar grocery favorites, wine and beer, gourmet items and gifts. The ultimate resource for couples and families, the new go-to outlet will be an updated version of a traditional general store - ideal for casual bites, guest room provisioning, and picnic baskets. Transforming one of the resort's seasonal restaurants, Ciao Mein, construction for Tahoe Provisions will be completed in time for Memorial Day, May 25. "We're thrilled to announce this exciting development at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe. In our incredible location on Lake Tahoe's North Shore in Incline Village, many of our guests are content to spend every moment enjoying all the resort has to offer. With the addition of Tahoe Provisions, guests will have approachably-priced items conveniently on hand without leaving the serenity of the property." --Mark Pardue, General Manager Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa & Casino A Modern General Store - Designed by CCS Architecture, Tahoe Provisions reinterprets the classic general store concept using traditional materials in a modern way to be both welcoming and upscale. Inspired by Tahoe's regional beauty, long-lasting natural materials such as black walnut and hickory walls, blackened steel, and black granite countertops contrast rustic with refined. Walnut merchandise carts with unfinished edging tie into the design's rustic nature, while a display wall of provisions for purchase changes seasonally, providing visual interest. The deli counter is fronted with an espresso bar, while custom-designed chairs and tables equipped with power access provide seating for up to 18 guests to enjoy coffee and a quick bite while watching the news or checking email. Sunrise Snacks - Open daily from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tahoe Provisions will offer a vast variety of edible selections throughout the day. Breakfast items, available until 11:00 a.m., will include rotating items such as steel-cut oats with roasted seasonal and dried fruit, granola parfaits with fresh berries, fresh seasonal fruit, breakfast breads such as cinnamon buns, croissants, and seasonally-inspired muffins and pastries. Tahoe Takeaway - For any time of day, creative fresh salads, sandwiches, sides and baked treats are conveniently available for takeaway. Seasonally-changing specialty items, made fresh each morning, may include Thai Beef Salad, Grilled Tuna Niçoise Salad, or Watermelon, Jicama & Mint Salad with White Balsamic; grab-and-go dips and sides such as Hummus, Coleslaw, or Roasted Marinated Mushrooms. Panini sandwiches will be grilled-to-order, while a selection of fresh, pre-made sandwiches and jars of cookies also tempt hungry travelers. Grocery items will include favorites such as Kettle Chips, Newman's Own pretzels, jarred salsas, traditional and nostalgic candies (Swedish fish, Jujubes, Tootsie Pops, Lemonheads and gummy candies), a variety of protein bars (Odwalla, Kashi, Power Bars), and dried fruit and nuts. Make-your-own s'mores kits are perfectly-suited for Hyatt's lakeside firepits. For beverages, guests may choose from Voss waters, Gatorade, Propel and Red Bull energy drinks, Naked juices, Jones sodas, Starbucks beverages and specialty teas. Guests may also purchase fine wines to enjoy, such as Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay, Spellbound Petit Syrah, Erath Pinot Noir, and Segura Viudas Champagne, as well as specialty, hand-crafted beers such as Stella Artois, Fat Tire and Blue Paddle. Packaging and cutlery at Tahoe Provisions will be biodegradable and environmentally-friendly wherever possible. Gifts To-Go - Tahoe Provisions will also offer sundry necessities and Tahoe-centric gifts. Candles, hair products, body lotions, and body wash come courtesy of Hyatt's Stillwater Spa. Other spa items include Kristin Florian products, mountain-themed essential oil diffusers and potpourri. Unusual Tahoe keepsakes include craps dice and casino cards previously used in the resort's own Grand Lodge Casino. Lone Eagle Grille & Cutthroat's Saloon branded clothing, books on Tahoe, and assorted best-selling cookbooks will also be available.
