Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa’s 400 acres of rugged Texas splendor puts business travelers in the ideal mindset for creative and productive meetings. Though the resort rests in seclusion on the hilly banks of the Colorado River, it waits just minutes from downtown Austin and historic Bastrop.
One highlight of the 65,000 square feet of indoor meeting space is the elegantly appointed Lost Pines Ballroom. Its mezzanine balconies evoke the feeling of a Texas Opera House, paying tribute to the area’s cultural heritage. Outside, 230,000 square feet of lawns and terraces, all with panoramic river, pool, or golf-course views, invite guests to mingle and enjoy live entertainment in the fresh pine-scented air.
A full-service business center lends meeting support, as do the on-site meeting planners, audiovisual specialists, and talented banquet and catering crew. Meals for groups might include a premeeting breakfast of Texas Steak ‘N Eggs or Austin Quiche. Lunch might consist of a Lone Star Cookout or boxed lunch, a good option to accompany such team-building activities as the ropes course challenge.
Individual recreation includes playing golf on 18 holes, horseback riding along the hilly terrain, floating on the Crooked River pool or rafting down the lower Colorado River. Workouts at the fitness center and treatments at Spa Django bring out the best in every guest. Following a full day of work or play, group members retire to the 492 spacious rooms, sumptuously crowned by Hyatt’s pillowy Grand Bed.

Lost Pines provided a unique setting for my leadership conference. I especially enjoyed taking advantage of the ropes course, which many of my colleagues are still talking about. We were also lucky enough to have all of our meal functions outdoors and the atmosphere of Lost Pines is gorgeous. Only utilizing the property for my group, I look forward to bringing my family back to enjoy the other onsite amenities (especially the lazy river).

For meeting and incentive groups in search of a distinct destination, Hyatt Lost Pines offers the best of Texas - scenic beauty, charming hospitality and a chance to experience the culture, cuisine and character of the Austin and Bastrop regions.
Conveniently located 20 minutes from Austin/Bergstrom Airport and 25 minutes from downtown Austin, the AAA Four Diamond Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa is a superb setting for business or pleasure. Located between the historic town of Bastrop and Austin, the "Live Music Capital of the World," the 492-room Hyatt Lost Pines Resort offers guests an opportunity to experience unique destination-specific activities.
The resort adjoins the 1,100-acre McKinney Roughs Nature Park with a mile of frontage on the Colorado River, the perfect environment for team-building activities - from informational to physically challenging - ideal for building corporate unity and bringing together groups from different backgrounds and interests. Groups work one-on-one with a dedicated recreation and team-building specialist from the nature park to design specialized activities, which may include a GPS Scavenger Hunt, Colorado Raft Float or Challenge Course and Rock Climbing. Or, choose a 30-minute gentle horseback ride break for your group, working with our specialists at Renegade Trailhead.
More than 60,000 square feet of indoor meeting space includes intimate boardrooms, corporate suites, and two ballrooms, including the spectacular 16,000-square-foot Lost Pines Grand Ballroom. Outdoor space provides 230,000 square feet of opportunities, including an amphitheater overlooking the Colorado River for concert performances and other special events.
Add a touch of Texas with live local entertainment at the resort's outdoor amphitheater overlooking the Colorado River, as well as authentic Longhorn bulls. Enjoy panoramic views on the 12th hole of Wolfdancer Golf Club or the pool deck of the Crooked River waterpark for an evening reception. For meeting and incentive groups, the resort also offers Spa Django, golf, outdoor recreational amenities, including kayaking and horseback riding, a waterpark, as well as eight dining options, ranging from elegant dining to Texas BBQ with live music.
In addition to a Convention Service Manager to handle meeting details, Hyatt Lost Pines provides groups an experienced Meeting Concierge. As a liaison between a group's coordinator and each department in the resort, the Meeting Concierge is a valuable resource. From the verification of a meeting or group incentive requirements to pre-inspecting a meeting room and until the last attendee departs, the Hyatt Meeting Concierge is a proactive partner.
Since opening June 2006, Hyatt Lost Pines Resort has continued expanding its practices as a "green hotel" for meetings and events. These best practices include a linen reuse program, energy efficient lighting, eco-friendly cleaning supplies, water-saving devices in bathrooms and kitchens, use of china over Styrofoam, plastic/cardboard/glass recycling and more. At Wolfdancer Golf Club, integrated pest management plays a vital role in efforts to reduce pesticide use as well as use of deficit irrigation to apply only the required amount water to meet the minimum needs for the turfgrass.
