The JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa hosts meetings of all sizes in its 240,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space. Planner favorites include the brand-new Saguaro Ballroom at 25,000 square feet and the ever-popular Sunset Lawn, part of more than 100,000 square feet of flexible outdoor space for gatherings under the sun and stars. The resort also encompasses 950 accommodations, ten dining experiences, a four-acre pool complex, eight tennis courts, two championship golf courses, and a 28,000-square-foot spa.
Guest rooms overlook wildflower gardens as well as the pools, fairways, and mountains beyond. Walking, biking, and hiking trails present ample opportunities to get out and explore between meetings, while Segway tours visit the resort’s world-class desert botanical garden. Quintessential desert golf reigns at two challenging 18-hole courses designed by Nick Faldo and Arnold Palmer. The theme continues in the Revive Spa with indigenous desert-inspired treatments.
Directly adjacent to the resort, groups enjoy the diversions of shopping, restaurants, and nightlife at the Desert Ridge Marketplace. The neighboring attractions will more than double when the new City North Entertainment Complex opens late this year.
This wealth of amenities merely scratches the surface of the Desert Ridge experience. Phoenix’s natural beauty plays an important part, too, starting with panoramic mountain, sunset, and Sonoran Desert views. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the lobby showcase the amazing environment, introducing the sense of serenity that infuses everything about the 316-acre resort complex.

The meeting and sales staff is comprised of true professionals. My event was seamless and appeared to be effortless. I would highly recommend this property to meeting planners.

Had 700+ on site for 2+ days. Great property. Staff everywhere, and willing to step in always. Outdoor venues can be windy, sunny, but that is phoenix. We did breakfasts outside, would bring inside next time. Great restaurants on site and everyone was very pleased, Took clients and employees. Would indeed go back again.

Fabulous for large groups. Not so suitable for small groups. The outdoor venues are elegant and well-defined—very private but flow is good. Staff was very pleasant,
