A refined and yet welcoming sense of personal service pervades Le Meridien Cancún Resort & Spa. Groups enjoy an intimate setting on the sands of Cancún, Mexico, combining business with pleasure in 187 rooms, 26 suites, and over 12,000 square feet of meeting space.

Between sessions, guests indulge their individual tastes at two fine-dining restaurants, a European-style spa and fitness center, the tennis courts, three tiered pools complete with Wi-Fi and poolside concierges, and the Caribbean beach with private cabanas and beachside attendants. Live entertainment highlights evenings at Le-Rendezvous, a lounge and bar near the lobby’s reception area and business center.

Much like the Wi-Fi-enabled elegance of the lobby, the resort’s meeting rooms prove as luxurious as they are efficient thanks to sliding walls and the latest in audiovisual equipment. While the Martiniere Ballroom serves up to 600 guests under 18-foot ceilings or divides quickly into five rooms for breakouts, the Mistral and the Tramontane serve up to 230 and 60 respectively or divide by two for even smaller meetings and events.

Outside, the possibilities for parties go on and on, with sites ranging from oceanfront terrace and poolside areas to a gazebo in the garden and, of course, the beach. The staff arranges for custom theme events and activities both on-site and off, including rounds at Playa Mujeres Golf Club, the new Greg Norman–signature course nearby.

33 nests were under Le Meridien staff protection last year. Thanks to this, the guidance and supervision from Semarnat, of 33 nests hatched 1612 were turtle hatchlings, more than 100 turtles in 2007.
