The Grand America Hotel

Meeting participants experience European lu xury on a grand scale at the only five-diamond hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah—The Grand America. While advanced in-house technology accommodates state-of-the-art meetings, museum-quality artwork and supremely comfortable amenities create an opulent environment for gatherings of every description.

Strolling the hotel’s public areas feels like a trip to the museum. An Aubusson tapestry, Audubon lithographs, and antique furniture and paintings create an air of refinement. Crystal chandeliers in the ballrooms and ornate coved ceilings in the private boardrooms extend an exclusive ambience to meetings as well. Two ballrooms and 21 intimate meeting rooms all feature stateof-the-art audiovisual systems supported by a full-time staff. Gardens and courtyards measuring 100,000 square feet offer an appealing alfresco alternative.

An event in any venue enjoys an impressive array of menu selections prepared by the hotel’s talented culinary staff. Recreational options include golf, hiking and biking, treatments at the three-story spa, workouts at the fitness facilities, swimming in the indoor or outdoor pools, or skiing at nearby Olympic-caliber mountain resorts.

Participants close a productive day in the comfort of the 775 rooms, appointed with Italian silk comforters and upholstery, Richelieu cherry-wood furnishings, English wool carpets, and spacious marble-lined baths. High-tech features include high-speed Internet access.

Grand America Receives Five Diamond Award
Posted Jul 10, 2009 by Elite News Team
AAA Utah announced that Salt Lake's Grand America Hotel has, for the fifth time, earned AAA's prestigious Five Diamond Award, the travel authority's highest rating for hotels and restaurants. The Grand America and Stein Eriksen Lodge are the two lone Utah hotels to be awarded this prestigious rating.

"Utah's Five Diamond Award winners truly represent the best of the hospitality industry," said Rolayne Fairclough, AAA Utah spokesperson. "They are repeat winners, which prove their dedication to continuing a tradition of excellence."
