How does it work?
Simple! Before submitting the RFP, you'll have the option to insert the name and e-mail address of your GSO/NSO contact for each hotel brand included in your RFP.
The GSO/NSO will receive a read-only copy of the RFP to ensure a timely response (and keep record of activity) from the hotels in their respective brand.
Benefits of this feature:
- It allows you to CC, or carbon copy, your global sales office (GSO) and national sales office (NSO) contacts on all of your RFPs.
- It helps you maintain existing relationships and keep the RFP process on a personal level.
- It ensures responsiveness from individual hotels within the brand thanks to corporate oversight.
- It allows hoteliers to recognize and reward high-volume clients for their brand loyalty.
Frequently asked questions
What is a GSO/NSO?
The terms GSO and NSO refer to a hospitality brand's global sales office and national sales office. Examples of hotel corporations that have such an office include Starwood, Four Seasons, and Hyatt. Contacts from a GSO or NSO can assist high-volume clients in maximizing value in the relationship between client and brand.
What happens to the RFP when submitted to my GSO/NSO?
Your GSO/NSO contact will receive a read-only copy of your RFP to ensure a timely response (and keep record of activity) from the hotels in their respective brand.
So how do I include my GSO or NSO on the RFP?
After you've selected properties for your RFP and you've entered your event information, you'll be able to review and confirm your RFP before you send it to the hotels. On the confirmation page, you'll see a button labeled "Add GSO/NSO". Click this button and create a contact for each of the brands for which you have GSO or NSO contact. You can also use the GSO/NSO manager to edit or delete your contacts if they change positions or no longer help you source hotels. They will be saved with your account so you can easily include them on your next RFP without having to re-enter their contact information.
